I have now learnt that William John Francis, born c1876, married to Agnes nee Cook, was in the (Coldstream?) Guards post 1914-18 war and was a bandsman.  Presumably he served during that war.
Has anyone any imformation about and his family (any children?)

I am awaiting, hopefully, if anyone can give me any info about the descendants of William Francis , Master Carpenter in Ingatestone, and his sons William and Gordon, who are (were) siblings of my late Mother-in-law Kate Eliza Tedder nee Francis.
Kate lost touch with her Essex relations pre 1939. Whilst we do not wish to invade anybodies privacy it would for, family tree purposes, be useful to know about my Wife's cousins!
