Found my great grandmother lived at the above addres - where is it and is it still there?

private hotel - in 1904 accomadtion list run by Mrs Smart  described as Near Pier. From 5/6 per day  34 bedrooms, 3 sitting rooms - the Peveril Hotel which proabably formed part of this block has gone (rebult) but the Grand View was also decribed as in Perveril Buildings and that is being rebuilt (think I have a photo somewhere on my CD Rom - see www.manxnotebook.com)

it looked onto the old Victoria sea terminal (that too has gone and the lemon squeezer stands in its place - tho indicated as Onchan actual in Douglas .

Thank you so very much for letting me see your manx notebook - I found it facinating and the photos of Douglas in the 1900s were just wonderful.   Mrs Smart was my great grandmother and I have been searching for her for some time now - so that has been a big help - the picture of her life  is now complete.
