The occupation underneath bricklayer says ................. (something) barge.

The nearest I can come up with is "worker on barge" or can anybody see something different ???

I think it's "worker on barge" too. 

It's one of those funny "W"'s that always confuse me.

I'll happily go with the "... on barge" part.

The first word is not so easy.  I think it ends -er.   (  That's a big help!  ;D )

Well Ithink it's 'Worker on Barge'. Strange handwriting as Sally says with a closed o that looks like an i afterwards.

Wouldnt want to lay too many bricks on a barge - surely it would sink??!!
