I should just say that this is just something that I have read about him.   I believe his family had a farm in the area.

What a shame the US TV shows have typecast Roger Rees as an upper class twit (Cheers, West Wing) ...

I'd love to "see" Sapphire and Steel......Um I mean David McCallum and Joanne Lumley.

Since I've just discovered a McCallum connection, I'm wondering if he and I might be related.  ;D

And also Dawn French, Robson Green, and maybe John Hannah??  :)

Course, with me not living in UK, I havent seen either of the first two series yet. :(

It makes a change from being flinty-hearted villains and all round Bad People though.  Mind you, we do something similar to them, don't we?  The stereotypical loud, brash, vulgar, tasteless American - not very polite (not true either!)    ;D

I'm having a sleepless night so have got up to play... Oooh - let's see - I'd be interested in...Ken Dodd, Paul O'Grady (aka Lily Savage), John Nettles (see if his detective skills are any good in real life), (Sir) Tom Jones (one for the Jones'), Jennifer Ehle (is that how it's spelt?) - what about Michael Caine!  (or Liam Neeseon...)

Or how about some of the old brigade...Bruce Forsyth - Ronnie Corbett, Cilla Black....

Maybe they should do Simon Cowell and hopefully find him a sense of humility!  ;)
