While I seem to have reached an hiatus with my researching, I thought I'd spend some time trying to describe the years I have facts for, i.e. dates on censuses, certificates etc. Does anyone know of a site or sites where you can enter a certain year and get some interesting information for that year? I have plenty of history books but so many dates to cover!!

I Googled "timeline" and found this site, which I will be bookmarking:

You can select various categories (religion, politics, people etc) and click on the results to get more detail.
