Hi
You've lost me now! You asked for the 1841 Census entry for John Tomkinson born 1829 with parents John and Mary - no entry found, but an entry was found with parents John and Elizabeth.
You say you have the 1851 Census - his father is 22 and his mother 20 and John was born in 1829?!! Doesn't add up.
The 1851 Census has John TOMKINSON 22, Mary TOMKINSON 20 and son John TOMKINSON 6months.
I think you want the father John born 1829 found in 1841.

This couple and family are living next to John, Mary and baby John in 1851.
Just a few doors away in 1841- may be a relative.

Chapple Street, Walker
Richard TOMKINSON 35 Refiner of Iron No
Ann TOMKINSON 34 No
John Jones TOMKINSON 12 Labourer Iron Works No
In 1851 this family are living a few doors away from the other two TOMKINSON families - so John Jones can't be yours as he's still living with his parents in 1851.
All three families came from Staffordshire. John born 1829 and his father John were both born in Staffordshire according to the 1851 Census entries. Only baby John born 1850 is recorded as being born in Northumberland, Walker.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Helen K
