Hi Sue
The earliest couple i have are Thomas BATTEY and Ann who had children Mary 1776 and Thomas 1778 in Worksop Notts-the name changes to Batty but the family remain in Worksop until about 1827 when a son Thomas marries Eleanor Woodruffe in Retford

Hi there,

My Dad was Eric Batty, son of Thomas Batty and they were from Henley on Thames.

Please let me know if this is any help, and just out of curiosity, how do you know the "Batty's" of Henley On Thames?

Hi

I'm related to the Battys that lived around there in the 1940s.  Thomas William Batty is my grandfather, he had about 15 children.

Let me know if you want more info

Thanks

Ryan Batty
