Family Tree Maker help!
« on: Tuesday 04 July 06 13:17 BST (UK) »
Hi, I've just bought FTM and I want to change the format (colour and bold etc) of an individual IN A TREE i.e the contents of the box in the tree...however the program just wants to change the format of EVRYONE in the tree!

Does anyone know how if i can change individuals format in a tree?
Thanks
ALison

I don't think FTM will allow you to change just one individual.. certainly not in versions 2005 or 2006.
2006 comes with a charting companion which produces pleasing charts but again I haven't found a way of changing just one person.

thanks for your reply - thats a bit pathetic isnt it for a program thats so highly regarded...i would have thought that would be a basic requirement for people making books - the only way i can think of making an individual stand out is CAPITALS...
