Do you have a Thomas Hudson, Iron Moulder in your family tree.  All I know of him is that he had a son John, born approx. 1899 who died in 1937, in London.  I believe he possible had two daughters too.
John Hudson would have been my Grandfather.  He was married to Margaret Bessie Harrington in 1932 at Southwark.

Do you have the name of Thomas's father - there are 48 families on the 1881 census but as your Thomas would only have been around 1 or 2 at that time, would need to know his parents names in order to 'isolate' him and get you started.
