Good afternoon

I am new to this list. Have been researching Anthony Dorn from England who met and married Jane Woods in Jersey in1869. It seems that Anthony's brother William may have been married to Jane first. They produced no children but Anthony's union produced 6 children. 4 of which travelled with mother and father to Australia.

We are researching how best to find more details about Anthony, but really interested in finding more details about William. The 1851 census in England shows the family with father Thomas.

If you have any details that can help find more about William I would be very pleased.

A full transcript from that 1851 census would be a good start.
That will give ages, occupations, ages, town & county location.

From there we will be better placed to help you with your request

Rootschat may have to remove the image, don't get concerned if it disappears.

So just to make sure,
the suppostion is that the william age 5y above , married Jane Woods.  Then Jane (now Dorn) married her brother-in-law Anthony.
