OFFER: SCARBOROUGH
« on: Wednesday 27 October 04 14:27 BST (UK) »
I can do lookups in Scarborough Library.  They have a good range of local information, parish registers, MIs, directories etc. etc.

Let me know what you're after and I'll see what I can do  ;)

Hi, thanks for your offer.

I found Richard Smith, 44, Registry Office keeper and his wife Francis Mary, 34, on the 1901 census at 10 Bright Crescent, Bridlington, Richard had crippled legs. I  have been looking for a death or burial in this area, but so far no luck. Would Scarborough have any M I's for Bridlington? Any help to find out mjore about these two would be appreciated.

Hi Jane

Scarborough does hold some Whitby records but I could not find any reference to John Jeffels I'm afraid.

Best wishes

Hi Ticker

Thanks for the kind offer.

Is there any chance you could lookup the following MI's / Burials:-

Eleanor Jane Fletcher, b1865 Lincolnshire died about 1949 in Scarborough

Eleanor's sister Sarah Ann Brown (nee Fletcher) b1855 Lincolnshire and died c1889 in Scarborough
Edmund Brown b1854 Surrey and died before 1901 in Scarborough
Their children:- Emily Brown (1880-1949), George H Brown (1882-??), Edmund Brown (c1884-1905), Eleanor Brown (c1886-c1952), Henrietta Brown (c1888-c1955) & Harry Brown (1889 - ??).

One last one - Elizabeth Fletcher (nee Harrison) (The girls Mother) died in Scarborough I think in Dec 1896.

Sorry for so many.

Any help or info. would be VERY much appreciated.

Regards
Sally
