how did u find them in barnby street? especially as Alex is almost eligible
is it near sandal street? do you have index to 1891 essex [i know how hard that must have been if not]

Glad it was the right family

I found him by using the surname search 'Lawrence' then going through the hundreds of Waggs till I found the right one who was A D Lawrence. The bit that threw me for a while was the Westham as there is one in Sussex, till I looked at the way they had written West Ham (joined up writing, looked like one word).
Anyway, it came good at the end
