Edinburgh Census Return - Help needed with handwriting!

Hi, my great grandfather, William Smillie Brown is on this census form, aged 4. It's from Edinburgh, West Calder, but I can't decipher the entry for the parish of his birth. His mum Julia Brown (nee Mullin) was born in Ratho (to John Mullin and Mary Ann (nee McKenna)), and his father David from East Calder, but I can't read William's birthplace!

To me it looks like Oakbank. No parishes in Midlothian called this though. Did a google search with Edinburgh and Oakbank. Name Oakbank crops up a few times in places in Livingston and Mid Calder though Livingston in West Lothian.

Oakbank shows up on the modern OS map - it lies just north of the A71 but south of Mid Calder and East Calder.

You will also find it on the old maps site (http://www.old-maps.co.uk) - when it choses to behave.
