Welsh Anglican clergy (Church in Wales; on some marriage certificates you'll see 'married according to the rites of the Established Church' before 1925) can also be found in Crockfords. Not sure about a database for the non Conformists.
Jones, Mantle; Radnorshire
Russell, Stonehouse, Agar; Yorkshire/Durham
Brown, Fair; Durham,
Little, Cumberland
Morris, Woolley, Owens; Montgomeryshire.

Census information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

Hi everyone,
I've been trying to find information to help at fellow rootschatter find information on two brothers who were CoE clergy. I tried the databse myself + Crockfords (telephoned a lady at my local reference library). The lady said she couldn't find any reference to either of the two brothers, which is strange.
This is what I have found:
Rev John Allen Parkinson
www elsworthvillage org uk opus173 html  Website has new owners
Charles Luke Parkinson - graduate of Brasenose College, Oxford (c. 1826 - 1855) -  formerly of Hursley, near Winchester, in
the county of Hants, but late of Purleigh, in the county of
Essex, Clerk
Sons of Luke Parkinson.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Paulene :)

A 'possible' relative - who doesn't show up on the CCE website - may have been ordained in Wales.  Would someone with access to Crockfords be able to look for William Bassett Powell, b. Merthyr Tydfil 1836, please?

He still might not show up; - apparently he travelled, ... may have married in South Africa, and in fact, may have been ordained there as well, ...  subsequently returned with his family to the UK (by 1901, when he appears as Rev. William, in Somerset).

{** Added: just re-read ... apparently he was in India, as well; daughter born there about 1868**}

Any help or ideas much appreciated.

Just found this reference and was able to get details about a distant relative Rev. Peter Bulmer.
Can't say as I understand how he came to be in Liverpool as a curate in his latter years but nevertheless the reference is there.

Thank you for posting

Dear All
Have just become (at the major outlay of 50p) the proud owner of The Church Directory and Almanack 1929 - great fun - even has details of stipends.  Would be happy to do look ups.  I didn't realise there were other directories than Crockford's.

I've been working as a reasearch assistant for this project transcribing records from the Diocese of Exeter (which included Cornwall as well as Devon).  Just to clarify that the records on this database are those that were made in various forms before the records were put into standard form.  In my experience I've found some very interesting anecdotal descriptions.  Well worth a look.

I have just dropped in to this thread and did not see any reference to two publications which can help in finding about Church of England clergy:  up to late 19th century, most but not all of them had a degree from Oxford or Cambridge and so should be listed in either
"Alumni Oxonienses : The Members of the University of Oxford 1500-1886. Their parentage, birthplace and year of birth, with a record of their degrees. Being the Matriculation Register of the University. Alphabetically arranged, revised and annotated by Joseph Foster."  or
"Alumni Cantabrigenses" - similar to the Oxford alumni, this one covers those attending Cambridge University.
These sets of volumes can usually be found in major libraries.
