Hi Kerry

Many thanks for finding Sophia.

About the addresses, yes I would agree with your theory. I have three families that live in Adwell Square between 1851 and 1901. Often the address is the same but the numbers change alot between the families and it does confuse me completely.

thank you very much
Helen

Hi Kerry

On revising my notes I wonder if you could find William BARNES and Sophia WOODLEY in the 1851 census. I think that  Sophia may have lived in Henley area all her life  and I have  another WOODLEY marriage earlier in my family tree to another family. I wonder if there is a link.

If I can found both of them with their parents, especially Sophia I may be able to prove any links. I suspect that the occupation of shoe maker may be a common thread.

Any suggestions welcome.
thank you in advance
Helen

Can't trace Sophia in 1851 but I have found a marriage for her the same as William above except page 678 not 675.  William was on his own and the page number had brackets so I would go with page 678 not 675 and I put money on this being our pair!!!

Hi Kerry

Many thanks for the 1851 census for William and the 1841 census for Sophia.  The WOODLEY's in West Street is another family for me to add to the list of families related that live in that street. That may be the thing that is common for all the families.

Also thank you for helping me find their marriage.

Thank you
Helen
