Hi
In 1841
there is a Thomas Millership 55 Coal miner and his wife Elizabeth 50 George Street Broxtow??? Could be your Thomas's parents but Elizabeth would have only been 15 when she had him?? Your Thomas is there aged 35 with Violet 30 and their 8 children at Newthorpe Hamlet Broxtow

Hi Jo,

My millerships could possibly come from Greasly, Notts.  But i cannot confirm this.  I have a Richard Millership born abt.1824 in Greasly, married an Eliza Plant from Tipton in 1847 in West Bromwich.  They had six Children all born in the Oldbury area.  One of those children is a John Millership who married Rebecca Roberts.

Hi Jo,

Richard's father was also called Richard born abt 1793, Bedworth, Warkwickshire, his children were Richard & Eliza.

I only know he married Elizabeth.

Thanks!!!

Hiya,

If I have the right family, Thomas and Violet are on the 1851 census together and he was born c.1806 Eastwood. Children with this couple are Job 18, Isaac 12, Thomas 13 and Samuel 8. let me know if you want full details?

There is a baptism on the IGI (extracted) for Thomas Melliship, baptised 27 Jan 1805 Eastwood to Thomas and Hannah.
