Cohergall--Where is it?

Thomas O'Malley, born in Cohergall on November 28, 1872, married married Mary Comer (Corner) from the same town (she was born  October 18, 1873).
They married in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on May 25, 1926.
 Any ideas on how to continue researching the families?

I think the spelling may be insorrect. May it should be Cornagall.
There are two places with this place name in Ireland.. Monaghan and Cavan.
The one in Monaghan is a 97 acre townland
Barony          Farney
Civil Parish     Donaghmoyne
PLU              Castleblayney
The one in Cavan is a 243 acre townland
Barony         Tullygarney
Civil Parish     Drung
PLU              Cootehill
