Lost a Marriage! HELP!

Hi Arranroots,

No unfortunatelynot, the data I have is
He was born 1855/56 in Merthyr Tydfil.
In 1861 I have been unable to locate him, as I do not know if he was then david Allan or David Thomas.
I did find one, with Irish parents, but thats not him.
In 1871 Ihave not found him, but in 1880 he married Mary George nee Williams (a widower).
They are on the 1881 census in Wengraig Road, PONTYPRIDD if i recall correctly, and then in 1891 and 1901 Ynyscynon Road.
It is on said marriage info that he shows as David ALLAIN (spelling is wrong) with THOMAS in Brackets aged 24, and father down as Jenkin (dec).
I dont know if I am missing something though, because to be honest, my head is a little fogged with all this lol.
A fresh set of eyes on it may reveal something I have not seen.

Can you give us the full details of David's own marriage, please?

Addresses and witnesses in particular.  Where did they marry?

There are not many Jenkin THOMASes on the 1861 census for the Merthyr area - how hard can it be, hahaha!!

I dont have the cert, just the parish entry, and all it states is

ALLAIN(THOMAS) DAVID 24 B JENKIN (DEC) GEORGE(WILLIAMS) MARY 30 W JOHN (DEC) 21/11/1880 B YSTRADYFODWG

The marriage was by Banns, and David was a bachelor, mary a widow.
