1851 Census

Hi All,

Looking for some help but clutching at straws!!
I am trying to find my GGG Grandfather, David Wilson.  I am hoping he was on shore at the time of the 1851 Census!  This is what I know, He was married to a Margaret Mawson, when, I haven't a clue as I haven't been able to find a marriage record (this has been a brick wall) So I don't have an approx. date of birth either.  I do know that in 1860 they had a son, George (my GG Grandfather) at 16 Tatlock Street in Liverpool.  Have tried the 1861 Census, to no avail because they had moved. I tell you these ancestors don't make it easy!   
When their son was born I know that David was listed as a Merchant Seaman, then when George got married, David was listed as a Master Mariner.

And that is about all the info I have to go on them, not alot I'm afraid. If anybody could help me start taking down this brick wall I will be very grateful.  I am hoping that David and Margaret were married by the time the Census was taken in 1851, if not I am hoping someone will be able to find a Margaret Mawson for me.  I am sorry that I don't have dates of birth.

The only David WILSON I could find may just be the chap your after.

1851 census  Clifton/Bristol

WILSON David,Lodger, Seaman, 21 yrs,
birthplace: Newhaven,Scotland.
