Is someone able to find the following for me please - I have found them on the Anc index but would very much like the transcripts and addresses.

1901 - John Oswin b abt 1836 in Syston - living Leicester

1901 - Rosa Oswin b abt 1884 Leicester - living Leicester (& family)

1901 - John W Oswin b abt 1880 Leicester - living Leicester

1901 - Edward Oswin b abt 1855 Leicester

1891 - Edward 'Orwin' (as above)

Have you seen John born 1836 on the 1891 census. He is with his children Sarah and Edith and son in law Charles Lyons(married to Louisa.

He is recorded as M  but must be a widower if you have the correct information re Sarah's death.

There isn't another John Oswin/Orwin around the place so I think he must have re-married.

There is a marriage for a John Oswin - possible bride Mary Marriott
registered qrt ending December 1900 at Leicester 7a, 631

Hi Tricia

Yes I had seen him on the 1891 but was put off to start with by the M.  I have got a burial for Sarah at Welford Rd. Cemetery 19 March 1887 unfortunately cannot find just which book I wrote the original info in (only put the date on computer) but I think I must have been pretty sure at the time.  Also checked all deaths on bmd from 1980 to 1910 and only one Sarah Oswin fits the age and that corresponds with the burial info. 

I think you may be right with the marriage and will send for the certificate for John & Mary & there is a death for a John in 1905 if I need a second option.
