Any ideas what Georges surname might be please?
« on: Friday 21 July 06 15:06 BST (UK) »
Trying to work out what George H ? surname is.
It is written on the back of a old photo of my Granddads.

It does not begin with a M, I have checked with other hand writing of his.

Thank you

Is it George Henry?

I would say it begins with an H.

Thank you
If your Flewers were in Canada c1905-1919 it might be?   :)

Names written on the back of one of my Granddads old Army pictures. Thought it might be nice to trace relatives.  I have sent a copy to the Canadian War Museum.

Thanks again everyone

It is a shot in the dark but my gran said she had older brothers "shipped out" to canada befor she was born in 1908. I have not been able to trace them as her mother (granny Flewers) tended not to marry her partners and her children were registered under different surnames :o
