LATCHFORD in Middlesex
« on: Friday 21 July 06 17:17 BST (UK) »
Hi,
Trying to find Elizabeth Latchford born about 1823 St Lukes, Middlesex.
Would appreciate a Parish Records Lookup if possible.
She married James Rixon before the 1841 census was taken, their first child was born 6th March 1841.

Also if anyone else have any LATCHFORD family members in middlesex I'd be interested to hear from you.
Thanks,

Tan

Hi,
Just a quick update. I have obtained Elizabeth's marriage certificate.

She lived at Morning Lane at the time of her marriage in Hackney, 7 Jun 1840.
Her father was a James Latchford, a Commercial Clerk, although both likely candidates in Middlesex 1841 & 1851 censuses seem to be 'Smiths' so I hit another dead end as soon as I've started getting somewhere! Is it possible he was deceased or am I looking in the wrong places?

Hello, Tan

I looked at the 1841 census for Morning Lane to see if any Latchford family were there, no sign of any.

Thanks for looking, I couldn't find Morning Lane on the census.

Her husband James Rixon also lived on Morning Lane at the time so I'll have a look now.

Thanks for the census reference details.
