Just found that on the 1881 census, Thomas Hagon and family are living next to the Digby's. Emily Digby and William Hagan married in 1890 and have known each other since they were 12. This confirms ( nearly ) that its the right family.

Hi there. As you can see I share this surname and just found this site via Google.
I have a reasonable family tree traced back on Ancestry and all branches are in Norfolk back to 1750. So perhaps I can see where your branch meets mine.
