Marriage Joseph and Elizabeth Walker about 1858
« on: Thursday 27 July 06 20:44 BST (UK) »
Can anyone please help me I am looking for the marriage in Wakefield of Joseph Walker born about 1839 and Elizabeth (I do not have a maiden name) born about 1838 He was born in Wakefield and Elizabeth was born in Alverthorpe Wakefield.  I have very little information but would appreciate any help or advice.  They had a daughter born in 1861 called Eliza and other children followed called James, Emma and Ann.  I have found this family on the 1881 census living in Wakefield but cannot find them before this.

Many thanks

Susan

Hi
Maybe the 2nd 1858 marriage is not them - in 1861 Wakefield there is a 26 yr old Richard THISTLETHWAITE with a wife named Elizabeth and 10 month old son.

Cheers
