 my grandfather was in WWI was he entilted to a army pension if so for how long.

No unless he was medical discharge from Army & it was Attributed to his services "eg" wounded,sickness.

he was a POW and the information we have he either died of wounds or disease he qualified  for aCWGC headstone is

yes he was married and had a family would his wife have been entilted to it after his death.

I donot no how you go about getting a death cert. as for his service records you would have to go to the National Archives, to see them.

To start you need to get his medal index card from the National Archives.

then look for his service records, only 30 percent are left after the fire in 1940, You may be lucky.
