has any one got watson or     walkdens in thier famly tree only its very hard to find any connections it does not seem to be a very common names, from lancashire or australia for walkdens from 1970.

My grandad was a Watson, he was born in Bolton, Lancs

There is place called "Walkden" in I think it is Manchester.

As for in Australia, I know someone here whose surname is Walkerden and she told me it is probably descended from Walkden.

That is correct Walkden is in Manchester, it is not to far from where I live.
