John COLLEY

Hello i wonder if anyone can help me. My great great grandfather John Colley was born c1831 according to the cencus he was born in Huntingdon. Just wondered if anyone had any idea where abouts he was born thanks, regards Munchkin.

The only John COLLEY born Hunts in the 1841 and 1851 censuses (age 7 and 17 respectively) was born/living in Sawtry.

Thanks Geoff, i got his age from the census but not sure if it was right, That could be him though as every bit of info says huntingdon. Do you have any other info regards Munchkin

Geoff, have just checked my 1861 info and he is 27 on it living in Hull and married to a Sarah from Market Weighton.

Only COLLEY burials in Hunts, 1825-60, however Sawtry burials end at 1837 unfortunately.

None of them seem to be on IGI.

Thankyou Geoff, i think this is my John by 1861 he is living in Hull, aged 27 married to a Sarah and with 2 daughters, Anna born Huntingdon aged 9 and Charlotte born Huntingdon aged 6........also a son, William, born Hull, aged 6 days. Regards  Munchkin.
