So am I Newbie if is  soundex is being automatically included with I now think it maybe. if not I am not, especially in view of the membership cost.

on both screens above the first name box is a little box - exact match only, that you can tick, so presumably it does soundex unless you tick this box?

Sorry - hadn't realised you hadn't got this box ticked - you need it ticked for the  soundex option to appear.

Got it now  ;D Must admit its contradictory to me exact match, means that, surely Soundex mean anything that sounds like it,  My logical thinking. :).

I think if you don't have the exact matches box ticked then it will produce more answers than with it ticked and soundex selected.  That's because with soundex it only picks up spelling variations but without the exact matches selected it includes completely different first names.
