YARMOUTH, Dec 6th
On Wednesday last were committed to our gaol, by John Danby PALMER, Esq. Mayor, for three months, John MUNNING and Joseph LARTER, for breaking some of the lamps on the turnpike road leading to South Town; and James COX for a breach of the peace.

Several swallows were observed in Yarmouth Market on Saturday last.
On Monday morning, about seven o'clock, a melancholy accident occurred in one of the Lowestoft fishing boats:- As Mr John ROBERTS, SEN. mate of a fishing boat belonging to Mr John Sead GOWING, of that place, (which was passing from the North to the South Roads for the purpose of making up), was leaving the helm to adjust something in the fore part of the vessel, the fore-sheet knocked him over-board, and it is supposed he instantly sunk. A Cutter's boat immediately went to his assistance, but he was not to be seen. He has left a distressed widow and seven children.

LYNN, Dec 6
Extraodinary Occurrence - On Monday se'nnight upwards of 100 swallows made their appearance in our market-place, to the astonishment of the beholders, and continued flying very low for some hours. These birds must have been driven back by the stormy and boisterous weather they met with on their passage.
