Help - I'm going mad !!

Please can someone advise me - when I am on Genes Reunited I am constantly getting a message on the pc saying there is a Script Error and asking if I want to continue running scripts on this page. It says:-   Line 47 Error ActiveXcomponent cant create object: 'ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash8

Can someone please tell me what it means as its driving me nuts !!

Hi Bill - thanks for your quick reply.  Sorry, bit of a pc novice I'm afraid and don't know what you mean by a Flash Plug-in.

Microsoft Internet Explorer isn't equipped to display all of the different types of content that are used by web designers, so has to have additional bits of software called plug-ins to enable it to properly display the more complicated stuff.

I think your best bet would be to talk to a local computer geek who can set everything up for you!  See a computer dealer or more or less any teenage boy!

Thanks Bill - think my grandchildren would know more than me !!  Anyway, will mention that after this happens I am being asked to enable Java Script - should I do this do you think?  Gosh I'm a real technophobic !!

That would do it!  If Java Script is not enabled it would not understand what it is being told to do.
