Family tree maker document
« on: Sunday 06 August 06 12:10 BST (UK) »
Morning all  :)

I've been having a sort out of all my genealogy files and have come across one with a FTW extension.

According to Microsoft the file was created using Family Tree Maker software and I can't read it!!!!!

Does anyone know if it would be possible to send the file to someone with Family Tree Maker software on their pc who could open it and convert it/copy it to Word so I can read it?

Fingers X

Jan  :)

FTW is the later Family Tree Maker (FTM) file type - the W stands for WINDOWS !

I have FTM2005 and would be happy to help - I cant convert as such, but could run a report against the uploaded file which can be WORD or PDF ...
