Evans from Wales

Looking for info on John Abergele Evans born in Abergele North Wales,I know he was born in the 1800's and he married a Mary Davies or Davis and they came to Australia,trying to find anything on his parents or him if at all possible

have you got any more information on either John or Mary, apart from Abergele in the 1800s?
I have about 10 John Evans in my tree going back to 1850, 6 of whom married Mary Davies. Unfortunately, none from Abergele.
A bit more info would make searching easier. Have to got a date of emigration and where they emigrated to?

you best bet would probably be to trace the passenger lists of those who emigrated to Patagonia. They are to a large extent freely avaiable.
The msg below was posted on another board at the weekend. Perhaps this can give you a bit of a start. There are no Evans listed here, but there might well be on the full list, or on passenger lists from other ships:

I saw this reference on another list relating to emigration to Patagonia  who emigrated around 1900 with a large group from the Caernarfon area.
