1842 Marriage
« on: Sunday 06 August 06 22:30 BST (UK) »
I'm looking into a marriage which took place in a Presbyterian church, possibly somewhere in Ballymena beginning with Killy/Kelly (possibly Killymurris?).

Groom's residence looks like D * * * * * Y (Duneany?)and Bride's as KILK * * * * .  The Parish could be Rasharkin, Co Antrim.

Does anyone please have any ideas on filling in the blanks?

Does anyone know if the towns/parishes are near enough to each other to make it feasible?

We've now come to the conclusion that the bride came from  KILLYMURRIN / KILLYMURRIS and the groom from DUNEANY in the parish of RASHARKIN.

The marriage took place in May 1842 in the Killymurris Presbyterian Church.

So, before we go off on the Red Herring Line to Nowhere, can anyone tell me the name of the minister/preacher who would have conducted the ceremony? If it is "Francis" Somebody, then we've hit the jackpot!!!

Please?  We're nearly there..... :-*
