I think this must be the one you have in 1881/1901, so it would rule him out

Hi Ricky,

Yes I have thank you.

William Mardell and Sarah Anderson also had three other children:

Charles born 1931, Ann born 1815, and William born 1809 all in Ayot St. Peter.

I have found a connection for the William but cannot find a connection on Charles, Ann and Joseph as yet. 

It doesnt help that I cannot find William Mardell, married to Sarah Anderson, parents, as I feel he wasnt baptised or was baptised elsewhere. 

This is why I am trying to find what happened to the children in the hope that somewhere I might find William's parents. 

It is a big brick wall at the present minute!!
