I have a Mary Brown born on 3 Feb 1823 at Falkirk, the daughter of Alexander Brown and Jean Gentles. 

I am trying to establish whether she was the Mary Brown that married Alexander Spence on 18 DEC 1845 at Falkirk, or the Mary Brown that married Alexander Campbell on 22 Nov 1844 at Falkirk.

I would be grateful for any assistance with this.

Hello

If you search for the DC of Mary Brown Spence on ScotlandsPeople using maiden name and married name search parameters you will easily find her in the area you'd expect to and furthermore you'll then easily be able to determine who her parents were.
