I'd LOVE to meet up with distant relatives; I live in Monmouth so am not too far from Risca or Newport. And I have MASSES of old family photos, some of which you may be able to identify ... I also have the family tree going back to about 1770 ... and details of a gruesome end to Great Grandfather John Williams own father, Isaac ...
By the way, Bertha's real name was
Alberta Louisa Riggs, not Bertha Riggs. My mother frequently talked about her Uncle Isaac and Bertha ... she had been warned not to go and look at his tomatoes alone, as he was a bit of a rascal with young girls !
