Family Bible Blessingtons Burton-on-Trent Staffs
« on: Wednesday 09 August 06 19:42 BST (UK) »
Many years ago my mother bought a family bible in a sale.  In the front are listed members of the Blessington Family from Burton-on-Trent starting with
Myles Blessington born 7th January 1884.
Frank Blessington born 23rd June 1885
John Blessington born 12th March 1886
Mary Blessington born 25th October 1888
Alice Blessington born 17th July 1890
Maggie Blessington born 22nd May 1890
Hugh Blessington born 30th April 1894
Kathleen Blessington born - no date given
James Blessington 10th June 1898
Winnie Blessington born 19th March 1900
Peter Blessington born - no date given

Cathy

I no longer have this bible as I have given it to a descendant of Myles Blessington.  However, I do have pictures of the family pages and would be happy to send them to anyone who is interested.

Hi Cathy

If you try this link, you'll find someone related to the Blessington family.

Seems that some/all of the children were born in Haddington (Lothian).

Sorry Cathy

Forgot to add the link!  Doh!

It should now appear in my previous message.

I've taken the liberty of sending a message to the person concerned, alerting them that you have the Bible.  Hope you don't mind!

Hi Dave,

They will have a surprise, I have sent one too and given them listing on site with message on - fortunately happened to be a member of that one too.

They do not have the later children listed to hopefully they will be chuffed with extra info.

Many thanks  for help
