Sue I had a look at the Genuki page as I wasn't too sure myself. It isn't very clear from that either.

Areas you need to look at are Low Moor, Wibsey, Buttershaw, Shelf, Queensbury and possibly parts of surrounding areas, Clayton, Great Horton and Little Horton. The parliamentary and town boundaries have changed over the ages for instance Queensbury belonged to Northowram - part of Halifax District. I don't know the dates of the changes.

Yes, I thought the same!

I know that in 1925 my grandfather was working in Manchester, probably at the main railway station.  Having found a birth that fitted the bill, I was wondering if it would have fitted for him to have lived in this area.

I shall look at the map again!
