Cheddar Valley Dairy. New Zealand

Hello all, I don't know if I am even in the correct room? I have just this minute found Rootschat!
I am gathering information on the Cheddar Valley Dairy that was situated in Rooksbridge Somerset.
During my searching I have discovered another Cheddar Valley in New Zealand!
It would be interesting to find out how or who named the Cheddar Valley in the North Island of New Zealand?
Any suggestions would be welcome.
