the Flynn's I'm looking for were in Leitrim. Terence Flynn m. a Bridget and they had a daughter Ellen b. 26 Dec 1854 in Leitrim. she later came to Worcester, Massachusetts, U.S.A. where she m. a Belfast man, James Thornton.
I found two Terence Flynn's in Leitrim at Griffith's valuation, but no mention of James' father Nicholas in Belfast/Antrim. I don't know if I'll ever know which Terence is the one I seek, perhaps some day the church records will be more easily accessed and it will all come together.
