VIC Lookup pls McCARRON family 1880s

Dear Rootschatters, Hi.  Looking to filling in some blanks I have on the McCARRON family.

William McCARRON born abt 1850 Co.Tyrone, Northern Ireland
married 1878 Victoria to Elizabeth DENNER* born 9 December 1850 Adelaide, South Australia, died 1940 Dubbo NSW.

*Elizabeth DENNER had a sister Eliza DENNER born 3 December 1856 Bourke, Taradale, Victoria (I know I hear you say), and she was my gg grandmother.  I just put this in so that rootschatters don't get confused and give me Eliza's details.  Eliza married John PARKER 1877.

2.Matilda McCARRON born 1883 Numurkah VIC

3.Mary Ann McCARRON born 1884 Numurkah VIC

5.William James McCARRON born 1891 Kialla West VIC

6.John David McCARRON born 1895 Kialla West VIC
married 1916 at Bathurst NSW to Ethel E. FRANKS

Q.Can anyone tell me more on the 6 children born to William & Elizabeth?
Q.Death dates, marriage details?


NB The McCARRONs and myself share the same Cornish ancestors on their mother's side.

 I think it was Matilda born & died 1883  as per the AVRI - ref was as given.

There are some possible marriages for Robert NSW - the one at Canowindra being in the family part of NSW

These two deaths are probably yours - NSW online

Hi guys, Regarding the beginning of my post, can anyone find a death year/location for William McCARRON that family say was born Co.Tyrone, Ireland?  He married Elizabeth DENNER, she died aged 90yrs in 1940 at Dubbo NSW.

His parents names unknown.

died melbourne  1965/7286  aged 74


as you know doubt have seen there are number of deaths in nsw that could be your william but  without knowing   his parents names  it is too hard to take a wild guess

i cannot find  him on the indexs  through  to 1920  and the deaths  from 1920  to 1985 for vic

would suggest contacting  the dubbo cemetery  and seeing  if there is a headstone  for eliza  that could very well shed some light on it

They seem to have had 4 children

That name should be unique enough to check naa for war service

Not war service, but there is a naturalistion record for Carsten Peter Nissen

search for Carsten Peter Nissen - the record has been digitised - rather interesting - the form for the Oath of Allegiance has Edward VII crossed out and George V inserted - it seems they didn't reprint forms as easily as they do today.
