Hi there

I have just recieved a birth certificate for a one of my ancesters dating from 1846. The place of birth is very faint but looks like Bailiglad. I can't find a place of that name so i must have read it wrong.

From that, can anyone give me an idea of what the place may be?

All help greatly recieved.
