Looking for Joseph PROBERT, Breconshire censuses
« on: Monday 14 August 06 14:19 BST (UK) »
Hi

Posted yesterday to an existing strand which I started some weeks ago regarding the above named, hopefully my g-g-g-grandfather. Am not sure if everyone would have picked up on yesterday's posting, so apologies to anyone who may be reading this now, having already disregarded this subject.

Can anyone find any trace of a Joseph PROBERT in Breconshire (probably in the Talgarth/Glasbury/Hay area, at least in 1851), occupation "cooper", and hopefully in 1851, 1861 and 1871 shown with a daughter named Ann? There may also be a connection with a place called Pipton. I have previously been notified of a Joshua PROBERT, most of whose details seemed to fit the bill, but having now received a couple of BMD certificates feel that this may not be the right person. HELP!!!!!!  ???
