MACE / SWINHOE - Berwick Upon Tweed
« on: Monday 14 August 06 14:58 BST (UK) »
Would appreciate any information on the children of John MACE (b. abt 1821) + Isabella SWINHOE.

From the Freemans Roll, they had 5 sons, but no mention of any daughters. Three of the sons were:-

  • 1: George Charles MACE b Sept 1861
  • 2: Benjamin MACE
  • 3: William MACE

I don't know of the other two sons, or any daughters if they had any.

I look forward to any information regarding this family.

Thanks

Neil

Nice one HM_Dava!

Thanks for that. I'll follow the leads and see how I get on. A bit worried about the Ann on the 1851 census being so old ... but I suppose there is nothing suprising about having children over a nineteen year period.

Had no idea that any of the Mace's were born in Scotland ... that opens up a new avenue for me ... thanks!

All the best
