Adding Surname Interests

I'm sure this is easy but how do I add my surname interests???

Hi Knellie,

Welcome to RootsChat 

there are two places where you can enter your surname interests.

1) in your "signature", that will appear at the bottom of each of your postings
2) In the Surname Interests Table. See link at the bottom of the page.

for 1), click on the "profile" button at the top of the page, or on your name, anywhere you find it.
click on RootsChat Profile Information
Enter your surnames in the box: Research names or areas:
click on Change Profile

remember to leave blanks between the names, otherwise this data will be treated as one word, and if it is too wide for the screen, it will mean scrolling left and right to read all the posts.
