HAMMOCK & EVE
« on: Wednesday 16 August 06 09:55 BST (UK) »
I'm seeking information on Frederick HAMMOCK b. abt. 1863 in Ilford, who married Emily Eve b. abt. 1867 (in Greenwich or Gravesend).

I can't seem to find them any further back than 1891.

Emily died prior to 1901, but I'm seeking her parents.

Also ...

Frederick's parents - James b. abt 1837 Barking and Sarah 1834 Little Oakley.   I can trace James back to 1851 but Sarah only so far as 1871, so I hoping to find her maiden name and parent details.

Can anyone help?

My FreeBMD shows just 2 names with that 1853 reference ?

Marriages Dec 1853
Bourne  John Dupray    W.Ham  4a 19
Campion  Sarah     W. Ham  4a 19

Full GRO images reveals James Richard Hammock too - but sadly for my 1841 find, Sarah Lord is not on the page ... pity as her age was spot-on, whilst Ms Campion is a bit older ...

Sarah Lord married James Smith and is in Harwich in 1861 .... :-[
