General was his given name ???  His father was GEORGE MICHAEL WILSON a jeweller of Hardman Place, Pendleton around 1800. G.G.WILSON was born c.1809. GEORGE THOMAS WILSON was born 1855 and married c.1870 at Hastings Kent... This man came to Australia where families followed...
