Churches in the Anderston area? completed thank you
« on: Wednesday 16 August 06 23:53 BST (UK) »
Hi

I know I'm probably clutching at straws here, but does anybody know which catholic church would have been closest to Argyle Street, Glasgow in 1919?  My uncle was born there, my grandparents were living in rooms at the time.  I know they would have had him baptised, as my grandfather was strict catholic.  I have my uncle's birth certificate, but would like his baptism certificate, hopefully for more details.

Thank you in advance

Rosemary
