Hiya Burrow Digger

But I did mention she had 2 illigitimate children in 1813 & 1815 so not marrying until in later life made sense

I will have to go and check them out in the census to see what age/place of birth is listed for Fanny

Thanx Burrow Digger

That makes much more sense! I haven't finished going through all the transcripts yet so I obviously had missed her and as I hadn't found the childrens births yet neither I hadn't realised the error on my behalf

Will make the corrections. So far it seems to be turning out that all the Chorleys in Milverton are related in one way or another so its making it great fun trying to sort them all out correctly

Good job I like a challenge!

Had another look at the OPRs.  Think I might have figured out your problem.

I think you are looking at two girls with the same name both born in Milverton, but at different times.

CHORLEY Fanny (baptised) 13 Sep 1807 - this one most likely married James Hancock

CHORLY Frances (baptised) 15 Apr 1782 - This one most likely had the 2 illegitimate daughters.
Note the Spelling - You gotta keep an eye on the variations in spelling. :)

Hope this helps.
