http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,197698.0.html

I have locked this board.

I am sorry to have to ask for help again but this has got me really foxed.

I am looking for the Liley family on census and I cannot find them.

I have Miriam Liley Born Mar Q 1880 in Dewsbury Yorkshire.

I have her marriage certificate she married 28/12/1903 at Rotherham Registry Office (Yorkshire) age 22 years she was living at Melton Terrace West Melton Rotherham.

Her Father is on the certificate as William Liley (Deceased)

I wonder if one of you magicians can pull the family out of the hat.  :D

I have really searched I have even done it on Ancestry that I just put Miriam in born at dewsbury 1880 and got nothing then I just put Lily in and same result.

William was a Miner by the way.

"currier" could be mistranscribed and actually say "collier" which is another name for a miner.???? maybe.
